As can be seen on the ‘Training’ section of our website, we offer a wide variety of CPC training courses, with two of our most popular ones being Driver CPC and Safe Urban Driving (SUD) training. Driver CPC is a compulsory training course designed to improve the knowledge and skills of drivers. The next Driver CPC deadline is fast approaching (September 2024) so it is important to ensure that your training has been completed in order to have your qualification renewed.
SUD training is vital for HGV drivers who transport goods or passengers as it increases drivers’ knowledge of vulnerable road users. With both theoretical and practical elements, this training provides drivers with a better understanding of road related risks while improving road safety.
We are one of the few organisations in the South who are still delivering CPC classroom training, whereas most have switched to solely online. We continue to offer classroom training as we believe that the standard is much higher. Within a classroom setting, it is much easier to engage and interact, meaning that greater amounts of information can be taken onboard, leading to more educated drivers.
We at Ridgeway Training are also pleased to offer FORS training to our Crawley clients in order to help raise the safety, efficiency and compliance amongst fleet operators. Depending on your needs, you can choose from a bronze, silver or gold FORS accreditation. For example, to work with TFL or to undertake any Greater London Authority group contracts, a FORS gold certification is required.
